Featured Speaker: Cindy Koehn, MS, OTR/L Cindy Koehn holds the position of Assistant Professor and OTA Program Director at Hawkeye Community College located in Waterloo, Iowa. Prior to her current role, Cindy served as the Academic Fieldwork Coordinator for eight years. Her journey in the field of education began almost thirteen years ago, and at present, her areas of focus include kinesiology, neuroanatomy, pediatrics, professional issues, and adult physical dysfunction. Cindy is always looking to introduce new modalities that are relevant to the OTA program and enhance student learning. She strives to provide diverse learning activities and assignments that help each student become an entry-level OTA. In recognition of her dedication to student success in the OTA program, Cindy was awarded the college's Faculty of the Year award in 2021.
